JUN ZHANG · JOURNALISM / MEDIA / SOCIETY
Curiosity does not recognise borders.
Jun Zhang is a Malta-based writer and media practitioner, originally from Shanghai. After studying journalism at MCAST, he is continuing his academic journey at the University of Malta, with interests in communication and international relations.
His work moves between reporting, editorial analysis, social questions and creative experimentation. He is interested in history, philosophy, technology and what happens when different cultural and political experiences meet.
At 45, he became a Maltese citizen and returned to university as a student. These overlapping perspectives inform his interest in public life, media and the value of asking difficult questions.
Personal motto: Fear comes from the unknown.
